COVID UPDATE – January 19, 2022

National Guard

The National Guard arrives today and will be deployed onsite till February 4th. The 5 member unit will be stationed at both the Healthcare Center and Friendship Towers assisting with tasks like organizing PPE, assisting maintenance, and additional cleaning and sanitizing. We continue to be grateful for the resources available to use from our local and state partners.

Testing

Testing will take place for all residents and staff at Friendship Towers on Thursday, 1/20. Most of our residents should be released by the Health Department tomorrow as well. Once we are all clear from this next round of testing, we will resume communal activities again at Friendship.

We will test again at Sayre Healthcare Center on 1/20 on Unit 100 and 300 residents and all staff.
