Caddie127 Charity Classic Supports Kentucky Families
At Sayre Christian Village, we believe that when communities come together, lives can be changed. We are proud to be part of an event that puts that belief into action: the 2026 Caddie127 Charity Classic.
Taking place August 21–22 at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, the Caddie127 Charity Classic brings together business leaders, community supporters, philanthropists, celebrities, and golf enthusiasts for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and—most importantly—giving back.
More Than a Golf Tournament
While the weekend promises an exciting golf experience, the true purpose of the Caddie127 Charity Classic reaches far beyond the fairways.
Inspired by James 1:27, Caddie127 is dedicated to supporting organizations that strengthen the lives of women, children, and families throughout Kentucky. The organization has already generated more than $1.6 million for nonprofit partners across the Commonwealth, creating opportunities for organizations to provide hope, healing, healthcare, education, and essential services to those who need them most.
This year, Sayre Christian Village is honored to be one of six charitable partners benefiting from the event. We are joining All God’s Children, Golisano Children’s at UK – UK HealthCare, Boone Brothers, Sunrise Children’s Services, and Woodhill Community Center in helping make a difference in communities across Kentucky.
A Weekend With a Purpose
The Charity Classic kicked off Friday, August 21, with the Grand Pairings Party Celebration at Keene Trace Golf Club. Guests enjoyed dinner, drinks, live entertainment, and exciting auction opportunities.
On Saturday, August 22, teams took to the Champions Course for a day of golf, hospitality, celebrity participation, and awards.
But behind every foursome, sponsorship, auction item, and volunteer is an opportunity to help Kentucky families.
As Caddie127 Board President Lauren Vernon shared, the event represents the idea that “nobody should walk alone.” That message resonates deeply with the mission of Sayre Christian Village.
Investing in Hope, Housing & Healthcare
For more than 40 years, Sayre Christian Village has been committed to providing Hope, Housing & Healthcare to individuals and families in our community.
Our campus provides a continuum of senior living and healthcare services, allowing us to serve older adults in a variety of stages and circumstances. Through our work, we see firsthand how important it is to have organizations and community partners willing to walk alongside people when they need support.
Partnerships like Caddie127 help strengthen that larger network of care and compassion throughout Kentucky.

A Generous Gift for Sayre Christian Village
We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown to Sayre Christian Village through this year’s Charity Classic. Following the event, Caddie127 and Keene Trace Golf Club presented Sayre Christian Village with a $20,000 gift to support our mission.
