This special fund was created to honor the memory of Elvira McCauley, a beloved villager of Baunta, whose legacy lives on through the joy of food and fellowship. Elvira was known far and wide for her generous spirit, her faith, and her unforgettable home cooking. Whether it was a hearty meal or a kind word, Elvira always found a way to serve others with love.

These summer cookouts are more than just meals, they’re a celebration of Elvira’s legacy and a way to keep her spirit alive through community, compassion, and good food.
