New CDC guidance has come out for all levels of care.

Per new CDC recommendations, the facility will no longer be doing surveillance testing for residents and staff, regardless of vaccination status.
The County Transmission map is updated each Thursday and a copy is posted at the front desk.
Currently, Fayette County is in the yellow (moderate). Testing will be done individually based on a) high-risk exposure, b) any symptoms, c) outbreak at the facility level.
The facility still requires all staff to wear masks as a source control preventative measure along with visitors. We also will continue to remain screening upon entrance to the facility.
Friendship Towers, Baunta, Forest View Apartments
Per CDC guidance, masking is no longer required and is optional for residents, staff, visitors, and volunteers at these buildings.
COVID screenings (temp & questionnaire) are no longer required for visitors upon entry but are still required for staff.
