Results for the testing that took place on Thursday, 1/6 have returned. There were no new Healthcare Center resident positive cases from that round of testing and the resident that was previously positive is being released by the Health Department.
We have had 7 additional staff members test positive from that latest round of testing on 1/6. Those team members are quarantining at home, with about a 50/50 split of asymptomatic and mild signs and symptoms.
Newly Positive Staff:
- 3 Therapy Staff
- 1 Transportation Team Member
- 1 Unit 1 Staff
- 2 Assisted Living Memory Care at Friendship Towers
In addition, we have a resident that has tested positive on a rapid in our Memory Care Community at Friendship Towers and that resident is in isolation.
All staff and residents at the Healthcare Center will test again on Monday, 1/10. All staff at Friendship Towers will also test on Monday, 1/10. If any resident at Friendship Towers or the Healthcare Center shows signs/symptoms consistent with COVID, they will be rapid tested.
Please keep us in your prayers. The staff have been showing an incredible amount of teamwork to ensure that the residents are cared for across campus. This past week has been extremely challenging balancing the COVID surge and the snow storm. We are proud of #TeamSCV! Thank you for your grace and patience while we direct all resources to mitigating the spread of COVID on campus and resident care.
