DRIVE-THRU TESTING CHANGE
Please note the change – Labox will no longer be hosting a community drive-thru COVID testing site on our campus due to their staffing, resources, and volume.
FRIENDSHIP TOWERS
PCR testing both staff and residents today, 1/13. We hope for results tonight, but we have not been getting them same day for some time and do not anticipate that this evening either.
Friendship Towers has partnered with Commonwealth Home Health to provide nursing care to residents that test positive (if they wish) – a nurse will follow them throughout illness, monitor vitals, complete respiratory assessment and monitor that they are taking medication as prescribe by physician. Nurse will also communicate with primary physician with any changes in condition. Each resident will be provided with their own pulsometer to monitor their oxygen saturation. Resident Assistants will be able to assist Memory Care Community Residents with vitals for this service.
Of course, any resident that is feeling any signs or symptoms, we are asking not to go down to the dining room. Meals will be delivered complimentary during this time to any residents not feeling well. Residents dining in the dining room will be socially distanced.
BAUNTA & FOREST VIEW
Residents from both Baunta and Forest View may also utilize the partnership with Commonwealth Home Health to provide nursing care to residents that test positive (if they wish) – a nurse will follow them throughout illness, monitor vitals, complete respiratory assessment and monitor that they are taking medication as prescribe by physician. Nurse will also communicate with primary physician with any changes in condition. Each resident will be provided with their own pulsometer to monitor their oxygen saturation.
If you are interested in this service, please contact Keri Marcum to start the process.
