Sayre Healthcare Center
We are thrilled that all test results from PCR testing this morning have returned NEGATIVE. We will do one more round of testing on Thursday, March 3rd before opening Unit 100 to communal dining and activities again. 1:1 Life Enrichment Activities will continue until then.
Friendship Towers Heritage & Expansion Wings
We are also over-the-moon that PCR test results from this morning’s testing for the Heritage Wings and the Expansion have all returned NEGATIVE.
As a result, we will resume Life Enrichment Activities and communal dining in the dining room tomorrow, Tuesday, March 1st!
We applaud EVERYONE for hunkering down to help us nip this outbreak in the bud. We do want to make sure that we are continuing to keep it that way as the positivity rate continues to drop. So, we’ll ease up in stages:
- All staff, visitors, and residents must wear masks
- Social Distancing in the Dining Room – 2 chairs per table
- Social Distancing during Scheduled Activities – 2 chairs per large round table
- Social Distance in the Lounges – we are asking residents to spread out in our common spaces for just a wee bit longer!
Assisted Living Memory Care
Unfortunately, we had a new staff case on the 3rd floor at Friendship. No residents are exhibiting any symptoms at this time, however, out of an abundance of caution, we have PCR tested all residents this afternoon. We expect these results tomorrow and will update here.
