Mr. Mitchell was admitted to Sayre Christian Village in December for a short-term rehab journey following a hospital
Initially, Ovie was very weak and had difficulty with daily tasks including getting out of bed.
Due to several medical setbacks, Ovie had trouble swallowing, performing basic self-care tasks, and walking/mobility.
Ovie worked very hard from December to March to improve, overcoming many obstacles. Ovie’s rehab journey has been remarkable!
Through his hard work and the hard work of our dedicated rehab team, Ovie is now able to walk, climb stairs, perform daily tasks, and swallow food and drinks safely.
We are so proud of Ovie and excited for him as he returns home today with support from his family!
