Meet Chaplain Dale Adams

We are blessed to have a full-time Chaplain on campus.

It’s one of the things that makes Sayre Christian Village unique in Lexington. Having a full-time Chaplain is a blessing to residents and staff alike. In fact, some staff consider Sayre their home church and of course, many residents do as well.

Dale works with a team of spiritual volunteers, the Enrichment team, and resident volunteers to provide multiple worship services, Bible studies, hymn sing-alongs, and spiritual one-on-one time to the campus.

Volunteering with the Older Adult Ministry

Dale often thinks back to the beginnings of Sayre Christian Village, remembering it’s vision and eventual reality. It’s a blessing to serve on the campus that he once volunteered at. He would often volunteer preach at Baunta and his uncle, a resident of Baunta, volunteered to drive the Sayre van.
Dale always says, “Sayre Christian Village is a great place to serve the Lord and also be served.”
He is always encouraging others to come and visit SCV. He knows that once a volunteer comes to campus and meets the villagers, they fall in love with the people and the ministry.

Serving the Bluegrass
