Friendship Towers: Basement Level Tour

Over the past year, the Friendship Towers Heritage Wing of our Assisted and Independent Living Apartments in Lexington, Kentucky has undergone a refresh! The overhauled level now boasts 3 amenities that we know you’ll love!

FITNESS CENTER 

Basement Level, 3rd door on the left

• Open Saturday – Sunday, 8 AM – 8 PM
• Maintain your wellness with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, 5 top-of-the-line resistance machines, a Nautilus recumbent bike, hand weights, and resistance bands.
• Group wellness classes will continue to be held in the Multipurpose Room on Level 1. The Fitness Center is for you to enjoy exercise time by yourself or with a few friends!
• (Please sign a waiver before the first time you use the fitness center. Waivers are located at the front desk.)

OUTPATIENT THERAPY

Located in Fitness Center

We now offer 1:1 outpatient therapy inside Friendship Towers for the convenience of residents. Outpatient Therapy has been shown to help residents live their best life at this level of care for as long as possible. 

The three-time Readers’ Choice Best Physical Therapy Aegis Therapies provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

• Need an escort to therapy? We can schedule one for you.
• Family is welcome to attend therapy sessions, ask questions, and take part in recovery planning.

If you notice Mom isn’t wanting to go to the dining room anymore because her legs are ‘bothering her,’ it might be time to set up a consultation with Lucy and her team. Their goal is to help Mom stay at the assisted living care level and lead a fulfilling life.
