Welcome, Dr. Tovar
Dr. Tovar will be our new Medical Director for the entire Sayre Christian Village campus for seamless continuity of care!
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Tovar and ProMEDeus Medical Group will also provide Primary Care Services through House Calls, Telehealth, and a clinic in the new Wellness Center on the 3rd Floor of Friendship Towers.
Dr. Tovar has accumulated 6 years specifically in long-term care and post-acute care rehab settings in 9 nursing home communities in KY caring for elderly patients. In addition, he has spent the last 13 years taking care of patients in the hospital setting as a hospitalist where most of his patients were aged 50 and above.
Dr. Tovar’s unique insight into the entire spectrum of care as it relates to elderly care allows him to optimize health care to reduce ER visits, hospital admissions and/or readmissions as well as reduce risk of falls, and more.

- Care Coordination
- Referral to a specialist when needed
- Medication Reviews for potential interactions, side effects
- Medication reduction when possible
- Transition to End-of-life Care
