*CHILI & BEER CHEESE FUNDRAISER IS ON! Unfortunately, due to weather, we are going to cancel the nativity scenes due to projected high winds and rain. We will be back next year with a massive indoor walk through Bethlehem, complete with animals, sets, and volunteer actors. Please note that we are moving the beer cheese/chili fundraiser up an hour to accommodate people coming home from work. It’s a great way to pick up dinner during a busy holiday time.
Jesus is the reason for the Season. Join us for our first ever Drive-Thru Nativity event and chili/beer cheese fundraiser! All ages will enjoy this Biblical winding drive by outdoor nativity scenes and Christmas lights through our 27 acre campus. This new tradition on our campus will be a shining light for the neighborhood and local community!

Our mission is to provide HOPE, HOUSING, AND HEALTHCARE to older adults throughout the Bluegrass. Donations from supporters like you help us continue our ministry.
Do I need to register online?
No, this event is completely free to the community. You will have an opportunity to purchase a ticket for chili suppers or beer cheese to go.
Can I volunteer as an individual, group, or class?
Absolutely! This community event is a great way to bond as a family, make memories as a team, and do GOOD for the community, not just Sayre Christian Village. Please reach out to Angela Mullins, Director of Campus Life Enrichment at 859-271-9000 or .
Why a chili/beer cheese fundraiser?
The lack of in-person events has affected our ability to fundraise the past two year and we depend on community support, grants, and gifts from generous supporters to help bridge the gap for benevolent care and to provide for services like a full-time chaplain and award-winning life enrichment activities. We have accumulated over 2 million dollars in unbudgeted COVID expenses in the past 21 months. Sayre Christian Village is a standalone nonprofit – we don’t have ‘corporate’ to call on times of need, therefore your support means everything to us. We believe in the power of numbers through communal giving here at SCV and any amount we receive at the chili fundraiser will go straight to providing the highest quality of care for our residents.
