Friendship Towers Activities

At Friendship Towers we strive to provide activities that do more than simply “spend” or “pass” time – our emphasis is to make time meaningful for each participating individual. While we encourage participation, each resident may or may not choose to be involved.

Our goal is to address individual resident needs – some of these include, but are not limited to:

Physical and Mental Needs

A healthy lifestyle involves physical activity and regular mental exercise. Many of our residents participate in:

  • Chair exercise
  • Mall Walks
  • Walks at local parks
  • Word Games
  • Crossword Puzzles
  • Trivia
  • Bingo
  • Current Events Discussion Group

Computers are available in our Network Neighborhood for resident use to “Cruise the Net”, send and receive e-mail, and play games.

Wi-Fi is available in all of the housing buildings for the use of our residents and their guests.

Social Needs
  • Recreational Activities – Darts, Kickball, Carpet Bowling
  • Field Trips – Dining Out, Legends Baseball, Museums, Concerts, Donovan Series
Creativity Needs

Resident artistic development and expression is achieved through:

  • Drama
  • Choir Group

Emotional Needs

Discussion groups provide connection with friends and offer an ear for listening. Reminiscence uncovers wondrous stories and exciting tales of past adventures.

Spiritual Needs
