Forest View Apartments Activities

At Forest View Apartments activities are designed to do more than simply “spend” or “pass” time – the emphasis is to make time meaningful for each participating resident. The Residents participate in the development of the activities calendar and, on their own, facilitate many of the day-to-day activity programs offered. CBO, Inc., the Management Company, provides an Activity Professional to help the Residents in planning, and to facilitate some of the programs.

The goal is to address individual resident needs – some of these include, but are not limited to:

Physical and Mental Needs:

A healthy lifestyle involves physical activity and regular mental exercise. Many of our residents participate in:

  • Chair exercise
  • Campus walks
  • Word games
  • Crossword Puzzles
  • Trivia
  • Bingo
  • Current Events Discussion Group

Computers are available in our Network Neighborhood for resident use to “Cruise the Net,” send and receive e-mail, prepare correspondence and play games.

Wi-Fi is available in all of the housing buildings for the use of our residents and their guests.

Social Needs:
  • Game Night – Jeopardy, Price is Right, Pizza and a Movie, etc.
  • Field Trips – Dining Out, Legends Baseball, Museums, Concerts, Donovan Series
  • Book Club
  • Red Hat Society
Creativity Needs:

Resident artistic development and expression is achieved through:

  • Arts & Crafts
  • Painting
  • Needlework
Emotional Needs:

Discussion Groups provide connection with friends and offer an ear for listening. Reminiscence uncovers wondrous stories and exciting tales of past adventures.

Spiritual Needs:

All faiths are welcome and expressions of those faiths are honored.
