Sayre Christian Village is unique because we are blessed to have a full-time Chaplain on the team, which has a major positive impact on staff and residents alike.
Chaplain Tyler Greene is often asked the question, how do you like working at Sayre Christian Village? His response is always the same. “I don’t like my job - I love it.”
"Sayre Christian village is a special place to work for many reasons. We strive to provide Christian care, love and respect for all that work and live here on our campus, whether it’s walking by their room to be a friendly face, sitting down to hear how God has been faithful in their life, or saying a prayer to start the day."
It’s a passion of Chaplain Tyler's to serve the community on a daily basis by providing bible studies, worship services, and counseling. He also feels called to be with families on the journey during the final days of their loved one’s life.
Sayre Christian Village is a great place to serve the Lord and also be served.
Chaplain Tyler completed his Masters of Divinity from Asbury Seminary in 2013 and obtained ordination through Southland Christian Church.
Tyler has a passion for serving with and alongside the older adult population here in Lexington. He and his wife Jessica are members of Southland Christian Church and have a son Nolan and daughter Emma.
Although he and his family are originally from Georgia and cheer for the Bulldogs, that does not impact his ability to connect with our community!
